Germane, (benzoyloxy)triethyl-, also known as triethylgermanium benzoate, is an organogermanium compound with the chemical formula C17H21GeO2. It is a colorless, crystalline solid that is soluble in organic solvents. Germane, (benzoyloxy)triethyl- is synthesized by reacting triethylgermanium with benzoyl peroxide in the presence of a suitable solvent. It is primarily used as a precursor in the synthesis of various organogermanium compounds and as a reagent in organic synthesis. Due to its potential toxicity and environmental impact, it is important to handle Germane, (benzoyloxy)triethyl- with care and follow proper safety protocols.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1018-18-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,0,1 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1018-18:
(6*1)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*8)+(2*1)+(1*8)=44
44 % 10 = 4
So 1018-18-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A 13C, 17O, 29Si NMR study of some silicon, germanium and tin acyloxyderivatives

Zicmane, I.,Liepins, E.,Ignatovich, L. M.,Lukevics. E.

, p. 355 - 362 (2007/10/02)

13C, 17O, 29Si, 119Sn NMR spectra of acyloxysilanes, -germanes and -stannanes R1R2R3MOCOR (M = Si, Ge, Sn) have been investigated. The character of substituent effects on the 13C and 17O chemical shifts of these compounds is almost the same for Si, Ge and Sn. 17O and 119Sn NMR spectra establish the predominance of the intermolecular exchange processes in acyloxystannanes.
