Palladium-Catalyzed Allylic Amination of Homoallylic Alcohols with Amines via Carbon-Carbon Bond Cleavage
Sun, Gui-Jun,Wang, Yong,Kang, Qiang
supporting information, p. 2931 - 2936 (2015/09/28)
An efficient approach for palladium(II) acetate catalyzed allylic amination of homoallylic alcohols with various amines via sequential retro-allylation and amination was developed, which afforded the corresponding allylic amines in up to 98% yield.
Palladium-catalyzed allylic esterification via C-C bond cleavage of a secondary homoallyl alcohol
Wang, Yong,Kang, Qiang
supporting information, p. 4190 - 4193 (2014/10/15)
Palladium-catalyzed allylic esterifications of secondary homoallyl alcohols with acids via sequential retro-allylation and esterification are demonstrated, affording the corresponding allyl ester in up to 99% yield. The electron effect of the substituent of the secondary alcohol was found to be crucial to the selective C-C bond cleavage.

supporting information, p. 3860 - 3863 (2014/08/18)
Grafting of a palladium complex to the Dawson vanadotungstate polyanion [P2W15V3O62]9- via an organic ligand generates a large family of pincer-type hybrid polyoxometalates. The palladium-POM derivatives have dual catalytic properties. Unlike their parent inorganic polyanions, they catalyze allylations while retaining their oxidant character, which leads to single-pot dual site catalysis. This opens a new route for multicatalytic reactions.

experimental part, p. 1130 - 1134 (2012/04/17)
The massive increase in glycerol production from the transesterification of vegetable oils has stimulated a large effort to find novel uses for this compound. Hence, the use of glycerol as a solvent for organic synthesis has drawn particular interest. Dra
Pd-catalyzed carboetherification ofβ,γ-unsaturated oximes: A novel approach to δ2-lsoxazolines
Jiang, Dahong,Peng, Jinsong,Chen, Yuanwei
supporting information; experimental part, p. 1695 - 1698 (2009/04/12)
A novel route to the synthesis of δ2-isoxazoline derivatives is described. Reaction of β,γ-unsaturated oximes with aryl bromides via palladium-catalyzed carboetherification affords 3,5-disubstituted δ2-isoxazollnes in good yields. The use of Xantphos as ligand Is crucial for the transformation. The carboetherification products can be further converted to β-hydroxy ketones in the presence of Fe powder and NH4CI.
