Delivering the goods: A pH-sensitive nanogel consists of a hydrophobic copolymer core and two layers of hydrophilic shell (see picture). The core is loaded with a model anticancer drug, doxorubicin (DOX). The nanogel infects tumor cells in a receptor-dependent manner, kills the cells, and migrates to neighboring cells like a virus.
