We have studied the thermochromic properties of new derivatives of benzopyran.A method of determining the extinction coefficient of the long-wave absorption band of the thermochromic form in the electronic spectra of these compounds is proposed.The thermochromic equilibrium constants for the range 40-80 deg C and the thermodynamic parameters of the process have been calculated.
