Silver(I) sulfate is a silver compound with the chemical formula Ag2SO4. It is a white, crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water. Silver(I) sulfate is commonly used in organic synthesis as an oxidizing agent and as a source of silver ions. It is also used in the manufacturing of chemical reagents and in the production of silver plating. In addition, it has antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it useful for medical and pharmaceutical applications. However, it is important to handle silver(I) sulfate with care as it is toxic and can cause irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory system.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 10294-26-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,0,2,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 10294-26:
(7*1)+(6*0)+(5*2)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*6)=75
75 % 10 = 5
So 10294-26-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of cuboid-type tungsten trioxide photocatalysts for oxygen evolution from water in the presence of silver(I) sulfate under visible light irradiation07/28/2019

We synthesized various cuboid-type tungsten trioxide (WO3) particles using a hydrothermal method followed by calcination at various temperatures between 200 and 500 °C. Visible-light photocatalysis of these particles was investigated for oxygen (O2) evolution from water in the presence of sacri...detailed
