p-Dimethylamino- and p-diethylamino-anils of 2-thiopheneglyoxal from stable dark coloured chelates with Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II) and Au(III), which have been characterized by analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR and electronic spectroscopy.
