105090-82-2 Usage
Uses
Used in Agricultural Applications:
Tert-butyl (5-amino-4,4-dimethylpentyl)carbamate is used as a carbamate insecticide for controlling pests such as beetles, aphids, and mites in various crops. Its effectiveness in inhibiting acetylcholinesterase enzyme activity disrupts the nervous system of insects, leading to their death and protecting the crops from damage.
Used in Household Applications:
In household settings, tert-butyl (5-amino-4,4-dimethylpentyl)carbamate is used as an insecticide to control and eliminate pests that infest homes and gardens. Its ability to target the acetylcholinesterase enzyme in insects makes it an effective solution for managing common household pests, ensuring a clean and healthy living environment.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 105090-82-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,5,0,9 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 105090-82:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*9)+(3*0)+(2*8)+(1*2)=92
92 % 10 = 2
So 105090-82-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Polyamine oxidases (PAO's) play an important role in the oxidative metabolism of spermidine, spermine, and their derivatives.Since the actual oxidation step involves deprotonation at the α-carbon(s) of the amine, gem-dimethyl substitution at those sites should retard catabolism. Moreover, synthetic methylated analogues of known biologically active polyamine conjugates may be expected to display enhanced activity and/or longer duration of action. This paper describes the synthesis of stable hydrochloride salts of five gem-dimethylspermidines 8-12 and two spermine analogues 13 and 14 that were designed to act as PAO inhibitors and to serve as useful probes of complex polyamine biosynthesis.
