PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 1,2-bis (perfluoroalkyl)-perfluorocycloalkene with excellent selectivity while suppressing excessive introduction of perfluoroalkyl groups when the 1,2-bis (perfluoroalkyl)-perfluorocycloalkene is produced from a perfluorocycloalkene and a fluorine-containing silane compound.SOLUTION: A 1,2-bis (perfluoroalkyl)-perfluorocycloalkene is produced by bringing a perfluorocycloalkene into contact with a fluorine-containing silane compound in the presence of fluorine ions in a mixed solvent of an ethylene glycol alkylether : an aromatic hydrocarbon of 80:20 to 20:80 (volume ratio).
