Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 105560-47-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,5,5,6 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 105560-47:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*5)+(5*5)+(4*6)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*7)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 105560-47-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Oxygen-, sulfur-, and nitrogen-containing molybdenum complexes that bind dinitrogen

Adrian George,Jackson, Michael A.

, p. 924 - 926 (2008/10/08)

New bis(dinitrogen) complexes of molybdenum are reported containing oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen ligands. The sodium amalgam reduction of MoCl3(trident), where trident = (Ph2PCH2CH2)2O (POP), (Ph2PCH2CH2)2NR [R = H (PNHP); R = Me (PNMeP)], (Ph2PCH2CH2CH2)2S (dpps), and (Ph2PCH2CH2CH2)2PPh (ttp), in THF solution in the presence of L, where L = PPh3, PMePh2, and PMe2Ph, led to the preparation of trans-Mo(N2)2(trident)(L). Formation of trans-Mo(N2)2(dpps)(L) represents the first example of any metal complex with a prior-coordinated sulfur atom binding N2. Reaction of Mo(N2)2(trident)(L), where trident = POP and dpps, with HBr in THF afforded ammonia, and with HBr in CH2Cl2, ammonia and hydrazine. Complexes Mo(N2)2(POP)(L) are the first N2 complexes with an oxygen-containing ligand to produce ammonia. Of the series of amine complexes only trans-Mo(N2)2(PNHP)(PMePh2) has been isolated pure. No ammonia was formed upon treatment with HBr/THF and only 1 mol of N2 was evolved per mole of complex.

Oligophosphine Ligands, XIV Bis(dinitrogen)molybdenum Complexes Mo(N2)2(PR3)

Dahlenburg, Lutz,Pietsch, Bernd

, p. 70 - 75 (2007/10/02)

The reaction of MoCl3(THF)3 with PhP(CH2CH2CH2PPh2)2 in THF/CH2Cl2 gave MoCl3*CH2Cl2 (1).Sodium amalgam reduction of 1 in the presence of the monotertiary phosphines PMe(3-n)Phn (n = 0, 1, 2), in THF under nitrogen atmosphere, yielded the bis(dinitrogen) complexes Mo(N2)2(PMe3) (2), Mo(N2)2(PMe2Ph) (3), and Mo(N2)2(PMePh2) (4).The homologous PPh3 and i-Pr3P derivatives as well as the attempted tris(dinitrogen) species Mo(N2)3 could not be isolated.Compounds 2-4 were assigned trans co ordination of the N2 ligands on the basis of their IR, Raman, and 31P NMR spectra. The trans-octahedral geometry of these complexes was also confirmed by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study performed on 3. - Key words: Dinitrogen, Bis(3-diphenylphosphinopropyl)phenylphosphine, Molybdenum Complexes, 31P NMR Spectra, X-Ray, Determination
