Two N-Fmoc and S,S′-protected α-amino acids were synthesized by introducing the derivatives of dithioether into a Tyrosine side chain under the Mitsunobu protocol using the diisopropylazodicarboxylate/triphenylphosphine (DIAD/TPP) system.
