General Description
Hypertrehalosaemic neuropeptide (NA) is a hormone found in the American cockroach, Nauphoeta cinerea, and is involved in the regulation of blood sugar levels. It is produced in the neurosecretory cells of the corpora cardiaca and released into the hemolymph where it acts on the fat body and the oenocytes to stimulate the release of trehalose, a sugar used as an energy source. NA is also involved in regulating the synthesis and secretion of juvenile hormone, which plays a key role in the development and reproduction of insects. In addition, NA has been shown to have neuroendocrine effects and is involved in modulating feeding behavior and metabolism in the cockroach.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 106018-36-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,6,0,1 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 106018-36:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*6)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*8)+(2*3)+(1*6)=84
