(Figure Presented) Special delivery: The freezing of activated amino acid derivatives within solid particles enables a laser printer to deliver these postal packages to defined locations on a solid support with high resolution. Subsequent parallel coupling is initiated simply by melting a whole layer of 20 different amino acid particles (see schematic representation; Fmoc=9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl).
