3-Arylsydnones (III) with a moiety linked through a carbonyl group have been synthesised by treating 3-aryl-4-bromoacylsydnones (I) with N-substituted-N'-benzoylthiourea (II) and screened for their antiinflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial activities.
