(Chemical Equation Presented) An unexpected palladium(0)-catalyzed cyclization of 1 with 2 leads to derivatives 3 or 4. This reaction allows for broad substrate diversity and proceeds through a proposed sequential process involving regioselective intramolecular carbopalladation.
