Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 109879-18-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,9,8,7 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 109879-18:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*9)+(5*8)+(4*7)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*8)=167
167 % 10 = 7
So 109879-18-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

CONFORMATIONAL AND PROTOTROPIC ISOMERISM IN THE PRODUCTS FROM N-ACYLATION OF 2-DIMETHYLAMINOMETHYLCYCLOHEXANONE BENZYLIMINE

Kayukova, L. A.,Dyusenova, Z. M.,Erzhanov, K. B.

, p. 1662 - 1668 (2007/10/02)

The slow rotation about N-Csp2 and N-Csp2=O single bonds in the two isomeric enamine forms of the products from the N-acylation of 2-dimethylaminomethylcyclohexanone benzylimine with a trisubstituted (A) and a tetrasubstituted (B) C=C double bond in the cyclohexene ring was studied by (1)H NMDR.The predominating conformer of the enamine form A is the exo conformer, which has N-Csp2 rotation barriers of 49.4-59.0 kJ/mole in the series of investigated compounds; the predominating isomer of the enamine form B is the endo isomer with a N-Csp2 rotation barrier of more than 93 kJ/mole.The prototropic equilibrium A B is characterized by positive changes of the thermodynamic parameters ( ΔG0298, ΔH0, ΔS0) in carbon tetrachloride and nitrobenzene, and this corresponds to greater stability for the enamine form A.

RESTRICTED ROTATION ABOUT THE Csp2-N BOND IN THE PRODUCTS FROM N-ACYLATION OF 2-DIMETHYLAMINOMETHYLCYCLOHEXANONE BENZYLIMINE

Kayukova, L. A.,Erzhanov, K. B.,Dyusenova, Z. M.

, p. 1956 - 1962 (2007/10/02)

N-Acylation products are formed exclusively in the reaction of 2-dimethylaminomethylcyclohexanone benzylimine with carboxylic acid chlorides. They exist as mixtures of the two isomeric enamine forms with a tri- and tetrasubstituted C=C double bond in the c
