The process comprises fluorination of one or more pyridine compounds of Formula (II) with a fluorinating agent and isolating 2-fluoro-6-(trifluoromethylpyridine compound of Formula (I) obtained, which are useful as intermediates in the synthesis of many agrochemical and pharmaceutical products.
