Uses

Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
12-epi-Napelline is used as a research compound for studying the effects of toxic neurological agents on voltage-gated Na+ channels. Its modulation of these channels can provide insights into the development of new treatments for neurological disorders and pain management.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 110064-71-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,0,0,6 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 110064-71:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*0)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*4)+(2*7)+(1*1)=66
66 % 10 = 6
So 110064-71-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Five new napelline-type diterpene alkaloids from Aconitum liangshanium

Takayama,Wu,Eda,Oda,Aimi,Sakai

, p. 1644 - 1646 (2007/10/02)

The structures of five new C20-diterpene alkaloids having the napelline skeleton, i.e., 12-epi-lucidusculine (2), 12-epi-19-dehydronapelline (8), 12-epi-19-dehydrolucidusculine (9), liangshanine (3), and liangshanone (11), found from the roots of Aconitum liangshanium, were determined by spectroscopic analysis and chemical reactions.

ALKALOIDS OF THE EPIGEAL PART OF Aconitum karakolicum. THE STRUCTURE OF 12-EPINAPELLINE

Sultankhodzhaev, M. N.,Yunusov, M. S.

, p. 319 - 321 (2007/10/02)

A new alkaloid has been isolated from the eipgeal part of the Aconitum karakolicum Rapaics. and has been called 12-epinapelline.The structure of the new alkaloid has been shown by the preparation of a diacetate and an iso derivative and also by the direct passage from songorine to 12-epinapelline and a study of their spectral characteristics.
