Uses
Used in Biological Studies:
Cucumopine is used as a subject in biological studies for evaluating the Agrobacterium rhizogenes cucumopine strain T-DNA ORF8 and its effects on transgenic tobacco root cultures. This research helps in understanding the genetic and molecular mechanisms involved in plant growth and development, as well as the potential applications of cucumopine in agriculture and biotechnology.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 110342-24-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,0,3,4 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 110342-24:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*4)+(3*2)+(2*2)+(1*4)=60
60 % 10 = 0
So 110342-24-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

MIKIMOPINE, AN OPINE IN HAIRY ROOTS OF TOBACCO INDUCED BY AGROBACTERIUM RHIZOGENES
Isogai, Akira,Fukuchi, Naoyuki,Hayashi, Miki,Kamada, Hiroshi,Harada, Hiroshi,Suzuki, Akinori
, p. 3131 - 3134 (2007/10/02)
A novel opine, mikimopine, was isolated from hairy roots of tobacco induced by Agrobacterium rhizogenes NIAES1724, and its structure determined as (4R,7S)-4-(2-carboxyethyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroimidazopyridine-4,6-dicarboxylic acid.
Structure and synthesis of cucumopine, a new crown gall and hairy-root opine
Davioud, Elisabeth,Quirion, Jean-Charles,Tate, Max E.,Tempe, Jacques,Husson, Henri-Philippe
, p. 2423 - 2429 (2007/10/02)
The opine known as cucumopine 1 produced by crown gall tumours and hairy-root exhibited chemical and spectroscopic data corresponding to 4-(2-carboxyethyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroimidazo[4,5-c]pyridine-4,6-dicarboxylic acid. The identification was verified by a biogenetic type synthesis from L-histidine and α-ketoglutaric acid.
