General Description

Butane-1-azoxymethane (8CI) is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C4H9N2O. It is a colorless liquid with a molecular weight of 103.13 g/mol. Butane-1-azoxymethane is mainly used as a radical initiator in the synthesis of polymers and as a curing agent in the production of resins and plastics. It can also be used as a blowing agent in the production of foams and as a crosslinking agent in the modification of materials. Additionally, it is used as a chemical intermediate in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.
