The present invention discloses a new synthesis method of a fulvestrant related substance (chemical name: 2-bromo-7alpha-[9-(4,4,5,5,5-pentafluoropentylsulfinyl)nonyl]estra-1,3,5(10)-triene-3,17beta-diol). According to the synthesis method, 3,17beta-bis(2-tetrahydropyranyloxy)-7alpha-[9-(4,4,5,5,5-pentafluoropentyl)sulfenylnonyl]estra-1,3,5(10)-triene-6-one is used as a starting raw material, and deprotection, bromination, reduction and oxidation are performed to obtain the corresponding related substance.
