Metal complexes of the types ML4X2 (where L = 4-benzoyl-pyridine, M = Ni(II), X = Cl(1-), NCS(1-); M = Co(II), X = NCS(1-)) and ML2X2 (where M = Ni(II), X = N3(1-); M = Co(II), X = Cl(1-), Br(1-)) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, electronic and infrared spectroscopy, magnetic and thermogravimetric studies.
