Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 112667-13-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,2,6,6 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 112667-13:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*6)+(4*6)+(3*7)+(2*1)+(1*3)=107
107 % 10 = 7
So 112667-13-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

ISOLATION OF CANDIRONE: A NOVEL PENTAOXIGENATION PATTERN IN A NATURALLY OCCURRING 2-PHENYL-4H-1-BENZOPYRAN-4-ONE FROM TEPHROSIA CANDIDA

Parmar, Virinder S.,Jain, Rajni,Simonsen, Ole,Boll, Per M.

, p. 4241 - 4248 (1987)

Two flavones having very similar physical behaviour and spectral data have been isolated as minor constituents from the seeds of Tephrosia candida.Based upon a detailed and critical study of their mass spectra, extent of shifts in their UV spectra, X-ray diffraction studies, and preparation of their derivatives, the structures of these compounds have been established; one was found to be penduletin (1) and the other 5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3,6,8-trimethoxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one (2), for which the name candirone is proposed. To the best of our knowledge the latter is a new compound and this type of oxygenation pattern is not known earlier among natural flavones.

REVISED STRUCTURE OF A NATURAL FLAVONE FROM TEPHROSIA CANDIDA

Horie, Tokunaru,Kawamura, Yasuhiko,Kobayashi, Takashi,Yamashita, Kazuyo

, p. 1189 - 1192 (2007/10/02)

The structure of a natural flavone, candirone from Tephrosia candida, assumed to be 5,4'-dihydroxy-3,6,8-trimethoxyflavone, is revised to 5,4'-dihydroxy-3,6,7-trimethoxyflavone, penduletin on the basis of spectral data. - Key words: Tephrosia candida; Leg
