A gseries of 29 new derivatives of N-benzylsalicylthioamides was synthesized and the compounds were tested for in-vitro antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium kansasii, and Mycobacterium avium. The activity was analyz
