Usage

General Description

The chemical compound [(2-{[2-(3-chlorophenyl)ethyl]amino}-2-oxoethyl)(phenyl)amino]acetic acid, also known as reviparin, is a synthetic derivative of heparin with anticoagulant and antithrombotic properties. It works by selectively accelerating the inactivation of factor Xa and thus inhibiting the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin and preventing the formation of blood clots. [(2-{[2-(3-chlorophenyl)ethyl]amino}-2-oxoethyl)(phenyl)amino]acetic acid is used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and related conditions. It is administered via injection and is commonly used in clinical settings for the prophylaxis and treatment of thrombotic disorders.
