Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 114694-29-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,4,6,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 114694-29:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*4)+(5*6)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*9)=130
130 % 10 = 0
So 114694-29-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis of Swinhoeisterol A, Dankasterone A and B, and Periconiastone A by Radical Framework Reconstruction

Duecker, Fenja L.,Heinze, Robert C.,Heretsch, Philipp

supporting information, p. 104 - 108 (2020/01/22)

A switchable radical framework reconstruction approach to structurally unique 13(14 → 8),14(8 → 7)diabeo-steroid swinhoeisterol A was developed. The conversion of an ergostane skeleton proceeded through the intermediacy of a 13(14 → 8)abeo-framework as pr

A volatile lactone of Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus, pathogen of European ash dieback, inhibits host germination

Citron, Christian A.,Junker, Corina,Schulz, Barbara,Dickschat, Jeroen S.

supporting information, p. 4346 - 4349 (2014/05/06)

The largely unknown secondary metabolism of the plant pathogenic fungus Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus was investigated by use of the CLSA method. A set of volatile lactones was identified by GC/MS. The lactones were synthesized and used in bioassays in which one of the compounds was found to be a strong germination inhibitor for ash seeds, causing necroses in the plant tissue. Synthetic studies of the spirocyclic cyclohexene part of versipelostatin, a novel GRP78/Bip molecular chaperone downregulator

Sasaki, Shu,Samejima, Suguru,Uruga, Tomoki,Anzai, Kai,Nishi, Natsumi,Kawakita, Eriko,Takao, Ken-Ichi,Tadano, Kin-Ichi

, p. 147 - 154 (2013/08/25)

The spirocyclic part consisting of an -acylated tetronic acid and a multisubstituted cyclohexene embedded in versipelostatin, a novel GRP78/Bip molecular chaperone downregulator, has been synthesized in enantiomerically pure form. The asymmetric synthesis of the targeted spiro4.5-1-oxa-7-decen-2,4-dione derivative was characterized by (1) stereoselective allylation at the -carbon of methylmalonate diester, in which one carboxylic acid was esterified with a D-glucose-derived chiral template, (2) construction of the tetrasubstituted cyclohexenone substructure by high-yielding ring-closing metathesis and (3) stereoselective construction of the spirocyclic tetronic acid part starting from the cyclohexenone obtained as the ring-closing metathesis product.

Novel Convergent Synthesis of Side-Chain-Modified Analogues of 1α,25-Dihydroxycholecalciferol and 1α,25-Dihydroxyergocalciferol

Kutner, Andrzej,Perlman, Kato L.,Lago, Amparo,Sicinski, Rafal R.,Schnoes, Heinhrich K.,DeLuca, H. F.

, p. 3450 - 3457 (2007/10/02)

A novel synthetic strategy for the preparation of side-chain-modified analogues of 1α,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol and 1α,25-dihydroxyergocalciferol was developed as a part of the extensive synthetic search for vitamin D analogues of potential anticancer a
