CHARACTERISATION OF THE PARENT PHOSPHOLE AND PHOSPHOLYL ANION AND SOME OF THEIR C-SUBSTITUTED DERIVATIVES BY 1H AND 13C NMR SPECTROSCOPY
Charrier, Claude,Mathey, Francois
, p. 5025 - 5028 (1987)
The parent phosphole and phospholyl anion as well as some C-substituted derivatives have been characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy for the first time ; the two most noteworthy features are the absence of 3J(H-P-C-H) couplings for the phospholes and the huge 1J(C-P) couplings for the phospholyl anions.
A straightforward synthesis of 3-acylphospholes

, p. 4511 - 4513 (2005)
(Chemical Equation Presented) The reaction of 2,5-diphenylphospholide, first with acyl chlorides, then with tBuOK, provides a direct access to 3-acyl-2,5-diphenylphospholides via a 1H-, 2H-, 3H-phosphole equilibrium.
