Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 117528-59-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,7,5,2 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 117528-59:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*5)+(4*2)+(3*8)+(2*5)+(1*9)=133
133 % 10 = 3
So 117528-59-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Finafloxacin hydrochloride, an important clinical compound was synthesized by a novel synthetic approach. An active intermediate ethyl 7-chloro-8-cyano-1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-4-oxo-1,4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylate 19 was prepared by a new route. The chiral (S,S′)-N-Boc 10 was derived from protected pyrrolidine and the absolute stereochemistry was established by X-ray analysis.
