2-Arylsulfonyl-1,3,2-dithiazoles (4) are suitable starting materials for the synthesis of 1,3,2-dithiazole-2-yl-radicals by thermal or chemical cleavage reactions.Starting with silver dithiolato complexes or with 1,2-dithioles, compounds of type 2 are formed by reaction with N,N-dichlorarylsulfonamides.This procedure allows the synthesis of even such representatives of 4 for which the corresponding disulfenyl chlorides are not accessible. - Keywords: 1,3,2-Dithiazol-2-yl radicals/ Sulfur-nitrogen compounds
