A series of novel (1-arylmethyl-3-aryl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)(4-arylpiperazin-1- yl)methanone derivatives were synthesised. Preliminary study of the structure-activity relationship revealed that 4-chlorophenyl, 4-tert-butylphenyl, 4-fluorophenyl and 3-methoxyphenyl had a promising effect on the antifungal activity.
