Usage

General Description

DACP, or N-(3-((4-(aminoiminomethyl)phenyl)amino)propyl)-4-methoxybenzamide, is a chemical compound commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry as a component in the synthesis of various drugs. It is a benzamide derivative with potential antineoplastic and anti-inflammatory properties. DACP is a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme human kynurenine aminotransferase 1 (hKAT-1), which plays a key role in the synthesis of kynurenic acid, a neuroactive metabolite.
