Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12005-81-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,0,0 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12005-81:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*1)=51
51 % 10 = 1
So 12005-81-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Quaternary rare earth transition metal arsenide oxides RTAsO (T = Fe, Ru, Co) with ZrCuSiAs type structure
Quebe,Terbuechte,Jeitschko
, p. 70 - 74 (2008/10/08)
The equiatomic quaternary compounds RFeAsO (R = La-Nd, Sm, Gd), RRuAsO (R = La-Nd, Sm, Gd-Dy) and RCoAsO (R = La-Nd) crystallize with the tetragonal ZrCuSiAs type structure, which was refined from single-crystal X-ray diffractometer data of PrFeAsO: P4/nmm, Z = 2, a = 398.5(1) pm, c = 859.5(3) pm, R = 0.058 for 167 structure factors and 12 variable parameters. All atomic positions are fully occupied. Chemical bonding in PrFeAsO can be rationalized with oxidation numbers corresponding to the formula Pr+3Fe+2As-3O-2. An electron count of 18 for the iron atoms can only be achieved if Fe-Fe interactions of 281.8 pm pm are considered as bonding.
