Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 12052-62-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,0,5 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12052-62:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*5)+(3*2)+(2*6)+(1*2)=59
59 % 10 = 9
So 12052-62-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Muon diffusion and relaxation in YCo2

Wiesinger,Reichl,Gratz,Mietniowski,Figiel

, p. 307 - 310 (2000)

Muons were expected to gain additional information about the spin fluctuations proposed for this enhanced paramagnetic system. At the lowest temperatures the μ+SR signal can be explained by a static Kubo-Toyabe relaxation function. On raising the temperature an interplay is suggested to occur between muon diffusion and electronic relaxation of `Co-clusters' surrounding a Co vacancy yielding a maximum in the fluctuation rate versus temperature curve. This behaviour is similar to that found in the case of paramagnetic impurities in nonmagnetic metals, the `Co-cluster' moment being the analogue to the impurity spin.
