The transition-metal-functionalized thiaphospharsiranes (2a), (2b), and (2c) are obtained from the reaction of (ν5-C5Me5)(CO)2(PPh3)Fe-As=P-Aryl (1a) and (ν5-C5Me5)(CO)2Fe-E1=E2-Aryl (1b: E1 = As; E2 = P; 1c: E1 = P, E2 = As) with an equivalent amount of sulfur.Further treatment of 2c with sulfur leads to the thiaphospharsirane P-sulfide (6).The heterocycles (13) and (15) are generated from the diarsene Aryl-As=As-Aryl (12) and sulfur or diazomethane, respectively.Structure elucidation of 2a-c, 6, 13, and 15 is based on spectroscopy (IR, 1H, 13C, 31P NMR and MS). - Key Words: Phosphaarsenes/ Diarsenes/ Thiaphospharsiranes/ Thiadiarsiranes/ Diarsiranes

The diarsenyl complex (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2FeAs=AsR (R=2,4,6-t-Bu3C6H2) (IV) is formed by the reaction of (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2FeAs(SiMe3)2 with RAsCl2.By-products are the diarsene RAs=AsR (V) and the cyclotetraarsane 5-C5Me5)(CO)2
