The resolution of the molecular structure of tetraphenylphosphonium tetraphenylborate, tetraphenylarsonium tetraphenylborate and tetraphenylstibonium tetraphenylborate was attempted without success owing to the disordered character of the crystals.The compounds were studied in solution by NMR (11B, 13C, 31P, 75As) and in gas phase by mass spectrometry (FAB technique).
