Acetylenic phenyldithiafulvene: A versatile synthon for TTFV-based macromolecules
Chen, Guang,Mahmud, Ilias,Dawe, Louise N.,Zhao, Yuming
, p. 704 - 707 (2010)
(Chemical Equation Presented) An acetylenlc phenyldlthlafulvene was developed as a versatile synthon for diverse TTFV-based macromolecular scaffolds. Through different coupling reaction sequences, shape-persistent macrocycles and linear TTFV-embedded polymers have been obtained and thereafter characterized by spectroscopic and voltammetrlc analyses. The TTFV polymer thin films generated via electropolymerlzatlon of a dlthlafulvenyl-end-capped dlyne monomer showed promising prospects In electrochromlc and redox swltchable molecular devices.

Liang, Shuai,Chen, Guang,Peddle, Jessica,Zhao, Yuming
, p. 3100 - 3102 (2012)
A TTFV-phenylacetylene folding polymer was synthesized to exhibit the property of reversibly dispersing and releasing single-walled carbon nanotubes in organic solvents under the control of redox or pH stimuli. The Royal Society of Chemistry 2012.
