12135-52-3 Usage

General Description

Calcium vanadate is a chemical compound consisting of calcium and vanadium. It is a bright yellow to orange powder that is insoluble in water. Calcium vanadate has applications in ceramics, pigments, and as a catalyst. It is also used as a component in the production of special alloys and in the manufacture of glass and glazes. In addition, it has been studied for its potential use in the treatment of lead-contaminated soil and water, as well as in the development of new types of batteries. However, calcium vanadate should be handled and disposed of with care, as it is toxic and may pose health and environmental risks if not managed properly.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 12135-52-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,1,3 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12135-52:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*1)+(4*3)+(3*5)+(2*5)+(1*2)=63
63 % 10 = 3
So 12135-52-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
