Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
PLP (139-151) is used as an immunomodulatory agent for its potential therapeutic applications in conditions like multiple sclerosis. It helps inhibit the proliferation of autoreactive T cells and reduce inflammation, making it a promising candidate for the treatment of immune-related disorders.
Used in Autoimmune Disease Management:
PLP (139-151) is used as a therapeutic agent for promoting tolerance and preventing autoimmune responses. Its immunomodulatory effect aids in the regulation of immune cell activity and cytokine production, offering a potential approach to managing autoimmune diseases.
Used in Research and Development:
PLP (139-151) is utilized in research settings to study its potential role in immune regulation and the treatment of immune-related disorders. Its mechanism of action and therapeutic potential are being investigated to further understand its applications in the field of immunology and medicine.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 122018-58-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,2,0,1 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 122018-58:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*8)+(2*5)+(1*8)=80
80 % 10 = 0
So 122018-58-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

IMMUNOMODULATING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF HUMAN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
-
Page/Page column 23, (2008/06/13)
A composition and method for treating an autoimmune condition are disclosed. The composition includes of an immunomodulating compound composed of a central amino acid core having a plurality of chemical attachment groups, and a plurality of antigenic peptides which are (i) associated with an auto-immune disorder and (?) attached to the core groups with the same N-terminus to C-terminus orientation. The compound is carried in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. An exemplary compound has an octomeric polylysine core and eight antigenic peptides, such as the peptides identified by SEQ ID NOS: 1-11, attached thereto. The compound is effective in treating an autoimmune disorder, by administering to a subject in need of the treatment, a pharmaceutically effective amount of the compound.
