3-(3-amino-3-oxopropyl)-2-[[4-[bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]phenyl]azo]-6-methoxybenzothiazolium chloride is used as a dye for dyeing acrylic fibers, fiber and scattered article eye wool ribbon. It provides a colorful blue color and a light green color under tungsten light.
