Reactive Turquoise Blue KN-G is a phthalocyanine dye characterized by its vibrant greenish-blue color. It is available in the form of a blue powder and exhibits unique properties when interacting with various chemicals. The dye is known for its use in the textile industry, particularly for dyeing and printing applications.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Reactive Turquoise Blue KN-G is used as a dye for cotton, linen, silk, and polyamide fibers. It is suitable for both knot dyeing and roll dyeing processes, as well as for printing on viscose fabric. The dye provides a blue lake color in water solution, which remains stable upon the addition of sodium hydroxide. Further addition of insurance powder and warming results in a purple color, while the addition of boric acid sodium returns the color to a lake blue with slightly reduced color intensity and luster.
Standard:
The dye meets certain industry standards for light fastness, oxygen bleaching, perspiration fastness, and soaping. According to the ISO scale, the dye has a light fastness rating of 6, an oxygen bleaching rating of 5, a perspiration fastness rating of 4-5, and a soaping rating of 4 at 75°C.
