General Description
H-D-Leu-Thr-Arg-pNA is a chemical compound consisting of the amino acids D-leucine, threonine, and arginine, as well as p-nitroaniline (pNA). H-D-Leu-Thr-Arg-pNA is commonly used as a substrate for protease enzymes in biochemical and molecular biology research. When the protease enzyme cleaves the peptide bond between arginine and pNA, it releases pNA, which can be detected spectrophotometrically at 405 nm.
