Derivatives of cyclopentatetrahydrofurans are formed as a result of the iodocyclization of cis-1-R-2-allylcyclopentan-1-ols.The iodocyclization reaction of unsaturated alcohols is described by a kinetic equation of the second order (the first order for each of the reagents).
