Glycocluster synthesis by native chemical ligation

Serine-and mannoside-derived thioesters and a mannosidic cysteine derivative were prepared to test native chemical ligation (NCL) for protecting-group-free synthesis of small glycopeptide clusters, which are valuable tools in the glycosciences.
