Rhodium(I) complexes of the types and have been synthesised by the replacement of H or Cl and a PPh3 by a bidentate chelate ligand, imidodi(thiocarbonic acid O-alkyl ester) from and respectively.Ruthenium(II) complexes of the types and have been prepared by the replacement of H or Cl and a PPh3 group from and respectively.All the complexes have been characterised and structures proposed on the basis of elemental analyses, IR, 31P NMR, and electronic spectral measurements.
