Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 124099-19-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,4,0,9 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 124099-19:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*4)+(5*0)+(4*9)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*9)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 124099-19-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Design, synthesis and anticonvulsive activity of analogs of γ-vinyl GABA

Zhao, Long-Xuan,Park, Jae Gyu,Moon, Yoon-Soo,Basnet, Arjun,Choi, Jongwon,Kim, Eun-Kyung,Jeong, Tae Cheon,Jahng, Yurngdong,Lee, Eung-Seok

, p. 381 - 388 (2004)

For the development of new anticonvulsive agents, analogs of γ-vinyl GABA (vigabatrin) containing GABA, γ-vinyl GABA, valproic acid, nipecotic acid or isonipecotic acid moieties were prepared and evaluated for their anticonvulsive activities. Most of the prepared compounds showed moderate anticonvulsive activities. Among them compounds 10 and 16 displayed the most potent anticonvulsive activity and a broader spectrum compared to vigabatrin.

Design and synthesis of anticonvulsive agents as γ-vinyl GABA-based potential dual acting prodrugs and their biological activities

Kim, Yong-Chul,Zhao, Long-Xuan,Kim, Tae-Hyung,Je, Sun-Mi,Kim, Eun-Kyung,Choi, Heesung,Chae, Whi-Gun,Park, Minsoo,Choi, Jongwon,Jahng, Yurngdong,Lee, Eung-Seok

, p. 609 - 613 (2000)

For the development of new anticonvulsive agents, γ-vinyl GABA (vigabatrin) and GABA mimetics derivatives were covalently coupled as potential dual acting prodrugs and evaluated for their anticonvulsive activities. Among the prepared compounds, 11 showed the most potent anticonvulsive activity, a shorter onset time and a broader spectrum compared to vigabatrin. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
