Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1241725-70-1 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,4,1,7,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1241725-70:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*4)+(6*1)+(5*7)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*0)=131
131 % 10 = 1
So 1241725-70-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Method for synthesizing beta-difluorocarboxylic acid from beta-keto ester

-

Paragraph 0014, (2018/05/01)

The invention relates to a method for synthesizing a beta-difluorocarboxylic acid compound from beta-keto ester, to solve the technical problems that the yield is low and the production cannot be enlarged in most methods at present. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the method for synthesizing the beta-difluorocarboxylic acid from the beta-keto ester is characterized by comprising the following steps: carrying out a reaction between beta-keto acid ester, which is used as a raw material easily available in the market, and SF4 in the presence of HF to generate beta-difluorocarboxylic ester, and hydrolyzing the beta-difluorocarboxylic ester under an acidic condition to obtain the beta-difluorocarboxylic acid. The molecules and derivatives thereof involved in the invention may be involved in synthesis of an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase (PDEs), particularly PDE2.
