N-hetaryl imidazole derivatives of general Formula I STR1 are disclosed in which Het represents an optionally substituted monocyclic or bicyclic heteroaromate, R3 represents hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-6 -alkyl group, or a C1-6 -alkoxy-alkyl group, and R4 represents --COOR5 --CONR6 R7 --CN, STR2 with R5 meaning hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-6 -alkyl group, R6 and R7 are the same of different and represent hydrogen or a straight, branched, or cyclic alkyl group with up to 7 carbon atoms or, together with the nitrogen atom, form a saturated five or six ring optionally containing another heteroatom and R8 means hydrogen or a straight, branched or cyclic alkyl group with up to 7 carbon atoms.
