Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1263485-63-7 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,6,3,4,8 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1263485-63:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*6)+(6*3)+(5*4)+(4*8)+(3*5)+(2*6)+(1*3)=167
167 % 10 = 7
So 1263485-63-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

On the enantioselective phosphoric-acid-catalyzed hantzsch synthesis of polyhydroquinolines

Bonne, Damien,Bressy, Cyril,Bugaut, Xavier,Constantieux, Thierry,Jean, Marion,Lemaitre, Clément,Quinonero, Ophélie,Rodriguez, Jean,Roussel, Christian,Vanthuyne, Nicolas

, p. 3394 - 3398 (2021)

A reinvestigation of a chiral phosphoric-acid-catalyzed four-component Hantzsch enantioselective synthesis of polyhydroquinolines reported in 2009 is presented. In our hands, when the reaction was performed with fidelity to the original report using a chiral enantiopure phosphoric acid catalyst, no enantioselectivity was observed. Unlike in the original report, enantioselectivity results are backed by baseline separation of the enantiomers by HPLC analyses on chiral stationary phase with UV and chiroptical detection.

Identification of dihydropyridines that reduce cellular tau levels

Evans, Christopher G.,Jinwal, Umesh K.,Makley, Leah N.,Dickey, Chad A.,Gestwicki, Jason E.

supporting information; experimental part, p. 529 - 531 (2011/02/28)

A series of dihydropyridines were identified that have an effect on the accumulation of tau, an important target in Alzheimer's disease. The dihydropyridine collection was expanded using the Hantzsch multicomponent reaction to develop preliminary structur
