Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1265080-38-3 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,6,5,0,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1265080-38:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*6)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*3)+(1*8)=143
143 % 10 = 3
So 1265080-38-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Three ring circus: The title reaction can efficiently provide functionalized polycyclic compounds containing cyclobutene (see scheme; PG=protecting group) or aza-cyclooctene moieties in a highly regio- and diastereoselective manner with moderate to good yields under mild reaction conditions. The scope and limitations are disclosed and plausible reaction mechanisms are discussed. Copyright

Oxidative isomerization of vinylidenecyclopropanes to dimethylenecyclopropanes and Bronsted acid-catalyzed further transformation

supporting information; experimental part, p. 243 - 248 (2011/03/21)

Oxidative isomerization of vinylidenecyclopropanes 1 produces dimethylenecyclopropane aldehydes 2 in moderate to good yields using tetrapropylammonium perruthenate (TPAP)/4-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMO) as a catalytic system and the obtained dimethylenecyclopropanes 3 can be transformed to indene derivatives smoothly in the presence of Bronsted acid (HOTf). The scope and limitations as well as the plausible mechanisms have been discussed. Oxidative isomerization of vinylidenecyclopropanes to dimethylenecyclopropanesusing TPAP/NMO as a catalytic systemand the further transformation to indene derivatives in the presence of Bronsted acid.
