Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 128101-70-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,8,1,0 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 128101-70:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*8)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*1)+(2*7)+(1*0)=92
92 % 10 = 2
So 128101-70-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

SYNTHESIS OF FLUORINE-CONTAINING ACETYLENECARBOXYLIC ACIDS
Kornilov, A. M.,Sorochinskii, A. E.,Kukhar', V. P.
, p. 2260 - 2262 (2007/10/02)
The fluorination of methyl 4-oxo- and 4-hydroxy-5-hexynoates by morpholinotrifluorosulfurane and sulfur tetrafluoride was studied.Methyl 4,4-difluoro- and 4-fluoro-5-hexynoates were obtained.Their hydrolysis with lithium hydroxide in aqueous ethanol gave the corresponding acetylenecarboxylic acids.
