Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 129283-82-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,2,9,2,8 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 129283-82:
(8*1)+(7*2)+(6*9)+(5*2)+(4*8)+(3*3)+(2*8)+(1*2)=145
145 % 10 = 5
So 129283-82-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

(Meth) acrylic acid production of thioster
-
Paragraph 0057; 0063, (2018/10/24)
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a (meth)acrylic acid thioester. SOLUTION: The method of producing a (meth)acrylic acid thioester represented by formula (3) [in the formula, R represents a n-valent aliphatic hydrocarbon group that may contain an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or an aromatic ring, or a n-valent aromatic hydrocarbon group that may contain an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; n is 1 or 2; and R1is the same as in formula (1)] comprises causing a (meth)acrylic acid halide represented by formula (1) (in the formula, R1represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and X represents a chlorine atom or a bromine atom) to react with a thiol compound in the presence of a fatty acid ester and an aqueous solution comprising a basic compound.
